| A heart trending story of a man who defies all odds and achieves his childhood dream-to sing like his idol, Mario Lanza. In a flashback we see the young Angelo, (Ruben Gomez) greatly influenced by his parish priest, (Donnald O'Connor) who recognizes the boy's singing potential and encourages him to pursue it. Angelo is deeply torn between his passion to sing and his loyalty to his widowed father (Raymond Serra) who wants him to be an ironworker like himself. In a dramatic climax we see a miraculous transformation brought on by Angelo's innocence and faith. Appealing to the child in all of us, "A Time To Remember," reminds and restores in our hearts, the true and blessed meaning of Christmas. |
